Privacy Policy

Effective date: March 10, 2026

This page explains what info we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect support contact details, device/browser data needed to operate the app, and the text you enter for generation, continuation, and chord revision.

2. How We Use Information

We use this info to run the app, improve quality, enforce access policies, investigate misuse, keep things safe, and send support or product updates.

3. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited data with service providers that help run the product, and when required by law or to protect legal rights, ownership, intellectual property, platform security, or legal obligations.

4. Retention

We retain information only as long as needed for product operation, legal compliance, dispute resolution, IP enforcement, and enforcement of agreements. Basic server logs and release evidence may be retained longer than surface-level content because they support reliability and misuse investigation.

In practice, buyer-facing trust review should assume we separate short-lived product content from longer-lived operational evidence such as access-policy changes and release diagnostics.

5. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including environment-managed secrets and governance controls for sensitive surfaces. No system can be guaranteed 100% secure.

6. Prompt handling and operator access

Chord Draft sends generation requests to the jam service to create a response and stores the current jam locally in your browser. External analytics telemetry, account sync, cloud library storage, and public sharing surfaces have been removed from the active app. Sensitive internal prompts, weights, and evaluation assets are not exposed publicly.

Operator access to infrastructure is expected to be role-limited and reviewable. Release-affecting controls are intended to be auditable rather than informal.

7. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of personal information. Contact us to submit a request.

8. Children

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
